Fastrac engine replacement

Hi,

Has anyone had problems with water leaks in fastrac 185 engines. We have major water loss without pressurizing the water system. There is no external leaks but steam engine symptoms from the engine breather.Quoted £9,000 to replace engine.

Any ideas apart from scrap heap on how to solve the problem?
Please help.
